Bangalow Community Children's Centre*
We are a community-based,non-profit organisation, funded and
licensed by the NSW Department of Community Services.
Our organisation is community managed and offers a high quality, centre-based child care
service which is child and family friendly.
What do we do? We are a Pre-school and Long day Care
Centre providing education and care for children from 6 weeks up to 6 years of age. We
provide before and after school care for children 5-12 years.
Why choose us? We are a community based non-profit organisation
providing high quality care. Our philosophy supports children learning through play. The
staff are committed to demonstrating best practices and valuing each child. The harmonious
setting is welcoming to children and families and we play a significant role in the
community.
What do we offer? We offer educational and creative programs
supporting the diversity of families and cultures. Our staff are highly qualified and
experienced and the child/staff ratios are excellent. Children with special needs are
integrated into our program. The Centre is managed by a committee of parents. parents are
welcome to come and visit, stay and help.
The Low-Down. Our centre is open from 7.45am to 6.00pm, Monday to
Friday, 50 weeks of the year. Fees range from $7-$31 per day and Childcare Assistance is
available to eligible families.Vacancies are still available for 1999.

Page MP officially opening the 0-3 years room on Friday June 11,1999. Don Page noted
how much the centre had grown in his association with it over eleven years personally as a
parent and professionally as an MP. He praised the high quality education and care
provided by the centre's qualified and experienced staff.
